Mercedes conducts maintenance on water main, possible service disruption

MERCEDES, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Mercedes is notifying residents of a potential temporary disruption in water services Wednesday night.

Testing is being performed on the water main and services may be disrupted or possibly low water pressure on business 83 and Mistletoe to 10th Street, according to a City of Mercedes Facebook post.

Affected areas include but are not limited to, Mistletoe Avenue, Alamo Road, Orange Street, Mercedes Apartments, Mercedes Oak Apartments and Ruben Hinojosa Elementary.

Testing will begin at 9 p.m. and last approximately one hour.
