Memorial Day weekend outlook

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Our Memorial Day weekend looks like it will be a good one for grilling and outdoor activities, as long as you are prepared to deal with the heat.

We will be seeing conditions typical for us this time of year. Highs for much of the Valley will be in the mid 90's.

In Starr County, temperatures will reach closer to 100 degrees, while in the Lower Valley, they will likely stay in the lower end of the 90's.

However, with the humidity factored in, we will all feel like 100-plus each afternoon. There is a slim possibility of a stray shower late Monday. Small chances for rain sneak into the forecast beginning on Tuesday.
