McAllen town hall to address storm sewer drainage upgrades

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of McAllen is hosting a town hall meeting to discuss storm sewer drainage improvements for the Tanglewood Estates Subdivision.

The meeting will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, at the Lark Community Center Celebration Hall, located at 2601 Lark Avenue.

The City of McAllen Commission District 2 Joaquin Zamora, McAllen City Manager Issac Tawil, Mcallen Assitant City Manager Michelle Rivera and City of McAllen engineering will be in attendance for the townhall meeting.

City of McAllen residents will have the chance to discuss directly with the city engineering department and gain insight on the ongoing improvements to the storm sewer drainage system.

The city hopes to help residents gather important updates on the drainage improvement efforts, highlight completed work and offer the opportunity to ask and provide feedback.
