MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The McAllen Public Library on Wednesday announced details on its 12th Annual South Texas Book Festival in October.
This year's theme, "Celebrate Our Roots & Stories," honors the stories, traditions, and voices that shape the Rio Grande Valley.
"We invite authors for all different ages, children's teens, and adults. They get to come to listen to the authors speak, or to read from their books, and interact with them. They'll be able to buy books from the authors and get them signed. They love getting to know the authors, spending time with them, and talking to them," said Kate Horan, Director, McAllen Public Library.
