McAllen police seek three women who passed fraudulent checks

McAllen police are asking the public’s help in identifying and reporting three women suspected of passing forged checks in local banks, according to a press release.

Officers received reports on April 10 from several banks in McAllen where each of the women entered a bank and passed a fraudulent check.

Police believe the women may be working together and have probably attempted to pass more fraudulent checks in other cities, according to the release.

If anyone knows the women’s whereabouts or where they may be located, police urge them to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at (956) 687-8477.
