McAllen police looking for registered sex offender

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - A man who is a registered sex offender is wanted by McAllen police.

According to a McAllen Police Department news release, Adrian Antonio Duron is accused of engaging in sexual contact with a child younger than 17.

Police were called to a home on the 300 block of East Upas late Friday night to investigate the claims against Duron.

A magistrate issued an arrest warrant for Duron on charges of indecency with a child, a second degree felony.

Duron is 30 years old, 5’2” and weighs about 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was in Pharr and police say he drives a Ford Fusion sedan.

Duron is required to report to the Texas Sex Offender registry program for the rest of his life. The agency website indicates Duron served time in prison for sexual assault of a teen.
