McAllen PD identifies second suspect in armed robbery

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — McAllen police identified the second suspect involved in an armed robbery.

According to a news release from the McAllen Police Department, authorities responded to an aggravated robbery on July 17 at the 2800 block of Redwood Avenue.

Authorities identified the second suspect as 24-year-old Edinburg resident Mariano Felix Carranza.

20-year-old man wanted for robbing McAllen home at gunpoint

Carranza is described as 5'10" tall, approximately 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

In a previous ValleyCentral article, McAllen police identified the first suspect as 20-year-old Donna resident Luis Leonardo Gonzalez.

Gonzalez is described as five feet, six inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Authorities say the men held the victim at gunpoint at the time of the robbery.
