MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — McAllen Parks and Recreation has launched several programs for families to stay active and engaged this summer.
Over 600 recreational programs for all ages and interests will be available for the entire summer season.
"Our team has created a dynamic and inclusive schedule that truly offers something for everyone," said Carina Jimenez, Deputy Director of McAllen Parks & Recreation.
The summer program itinerary includes sports, arts, and crafts.
"Whether your child wants to learn to swim, sing their heart out, or pick up a new sport or craft, this is their chance to do it in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment," Jimenez continued.
