McAllen home raided in another animal hoarding case

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Police are at the scene of a McAllen home that is suspected to be hoarding animals, according to Yaqui Animal Rescue.

Yaqui says a warrant has been issued to raid a residence on the 300 block of West Fern Avenue in McAllen.

"We have a call regarding animals," said Lieutenant Joel Morales with the McAllen Police Department.

It is suspected that 30 dogs and 60 cats are inside the home.
