McAllen Chamber of Commerce to host food festival

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The McAllen Chamber of Commerce is hosting 'Taste McAllen 2025', a premier food festival of the RGV to showcase the diverse culinary talents of the region.

At 6:30 p.m. on June 12, the festival is featuring over 20 local chefs and food trucks. There will also be independent and chain restaurants.

"What we really hope is going to happen with our attendees is that they're going to get an experience to try some restaurants that maybe they have always wanted to go to, but they haven't been to before," said Leigh Wooldridge, Vice President for Visit McAllen.

The event is taking place at the McAllen Convention Center, located at 700 Convention Center Blvd.
