Mayor Joe V. Sanchez Memorial Book Festival

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Mayor Joe V. Sanchez Public Library of Weslaco, UTRGV Festiba, and the South Texas Literacy Coalition will host its annual Mayor Joe V. Sanchez Memorial Book Festival.

The public is invited to this free event which includes award-winning authors, entertaining performances, refreshments, complimentary books, engaging crafts, games, and more.

A book giveaway will begin at 1 p.m.

The festival is scheduled for Saturday, March 2, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mayor Joe V. Sanchez Public Library located at 525 S. Kansas Ave.
