Mario Garza wins San Juan mayor race for a third time

SAN JUAN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Unofficial election results show that Mario Garza has won the City of San Juan mayoral race.

Garza won the election against Ernesto 'Coach' Guajardo with a total of 1,524 votes or 54% to Guajardo's 1,275 or 46%.

This is Garza's third victory as San Juan mayor. He first won the position in 2017.

Mayor Garza will serve a term of four years.
