DONNA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A Pasadena resident wanted for murder was arrested by the Donna Police Department after turning himself in to authorities Wednesday afternoon.
Roberto Madrigal, 30, turned himself into police at approximately 3:20 p.m.
Donna police say Madrigal was wanted for a murder out of Houston.
According to the City of Houston, Madrigal was wanted for the fatal shooting of a man and the wounding of another person on December 27, 2023.
The deceased victim is identified as Jahmar Sampson, 33.
The 180th State District District Court of Houston charged Madrigal with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Madrigal has been released to the custody of the U.S. Marshals for extradition.
