Man sentenced to 30 years for sexual assault of 2 minors

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — An Edinburg man was sentenced for sexually abusing two minors.

Enoe Reyes 42, was found guilty on two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact, according to Toribio Palacios, Criminal District Attorney.

On December 20, 2023, Hidalgo County deputies received a call regarding Reyes being involved in the sexual abuse of a child.

Throughout the investigation, authorities discovered that Reyes sexually abused a 13 and 14-year-old.

"Both children were interviewed by a forensic interviewer and underwent sexual assault examinations where the children made consistent outcries detailing the sexual abuse by Reyes," the release stated.

On Monday, 206th District Court Judge Rose G. Reyna sentenced Reyes to 30 years in prison.
