Man's body found in Port Isabel taxi service garage

PORT ISABEL, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Port Isabel Police are investigating the discovery of a man's body at a taxi service garage, according to the police department's news release.

On Tuesday, the body of a man, believed to be in his 50s, was found dead at the taxi service located on South Garcia Street.

According to Police Chief Robert Lopez, the man was staying inside the garage. When the owner arrived he found the man's body.

Chief Lopez said they believed the man had some health complications and do not suspect foul play.

An autopsy has been ordered and the man's identification is not being released at this time.
