Man killed in McAllen auto-pedestrian accident

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — One person is in custody following a fatal auto-pedestrian accident today in McAllen.

According to McAllen police, at 5:32 a.m. a man was struck by a vehicle on the 500 block of north 29th street.

The victim in the case is 54-year-old Juan Carlos Garcia of McAllen.

One person is in custody in relation to the fatal accident. Charges are pending at the moment.

This is an ongoing investigation.
