Man hospitalized after shooting in rural Mission

MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that left one person hospitalized.

Deputies responded to the shooting at 2:59 p.m. Wednesday at the 6900 block of Minnesota Rd. in rural Mission.

Sheriff Eddie Guerra says one man was shot and transported to the hospital.

The extent of the man's injuries is unknown.
