Man found with fatal gunshot wound to head in Edinburg

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man with a fatal gunshot wound was found Sunday night in Edinburg.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office says at 9:22 p.m., deputies responded to the 4500 block of Fe Drive in rural Edinburg, where they found a man with a gunshot wound to the head.

Authorities say this is an ongoing investigation and any witnesses to the incident are asked to come forward by calling the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office at (956) 383-8114.
