SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man was issued a $180,000 bond following a fatal two-vehicle golf cart crash that claimed the life of a North Texas woman.
David Rivera, 60, was charged with six counts of intoxication assault and one count of intoxication manslaughter.

At 2:15 a.m. on Aug. 9, South Padre Island police responded to a crash involving a golf cart and a Chevrolet truck at the intersection of Padre Boulevard and Morningside Street, according to a news release from the City of South Padre Island.
