Police responded to a shots-fired call at the 3400 block of Pablo Kisel Blvd. at 1:35 a.m. Friday.

Responding officers spoke with witnesses who provided a lead on the suspect and his suspected vehicle.

Officers and deputies with the Cameron County Sheriff's Office soon located and conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle at the intersection of Paredes Line Road and Carlos Avenue.

Multiple casings were recovered, and a handgun was seized from Lopez’s vehicle.
