Low-cost vaccine clinic for pets in Harlingen this Saturday

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Rio Grande Valley Humane Society is hosting a low-cost vaccine clinic on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

Pre-registration is required, and vaccines for dogs and cats are available, including rabies. The clinic is drive-through, with pets on leashes or in carriers.

Volunteers are crucial as the team is small. Currently, there are about 210 registered animals.

Chance, an eight-month-old lab mix, is available for adoption for $100, including spay/neuter and vaccines.

The clinic is located on 18038 Garrett Road in Harlingen, and registration can be done online or in person.
