Los Fresnos News to shut down operations Oct. 31

LOS FRESNOS, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Los Fresnos News said it will be closing operations for good on Friday.

The paper announced on Facebook that its final edition was distributed on Wednesday.

As the Los Fresnos News shuts down, the paper refers readers to an online edition.

This is the second newspaper this week that has closed operations.

On Wednesday, La Feria News announced its closure after 100 years in service.
