Local adult daycare services encourages those with special needs

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Domingo Hinojosa Jr. and Elizabeth Salinas from My Morning Star Adult Day Care Services stopped by the ValleyCentral studios to discuss their mission and upcoming events.

Morningstar offers support in various aspects of life and encourages personal growth, and achievement, and helps young adults with special needs.

Morningstar facilitates community involvement, including participation in Special Olympics Texas and educational sessions with local police and fire departments.

Elizabeth Salinas is an athlete who has competed in the Special Olympics USA in Italy and competed in the game of floorball.
