Loaves & Fishes of the RGV hosts Symphony on the Hill charity dinner

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Loaves & Fishes of the RGV is a nonprofit serving the Harlingen community for 34 years.

The organization will hold its 20th annual charity dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 13 at the Oak Hill Event Center in San Benito, located at 1780 U.S. Expressway 77.

The event, themed "Symphony on the Hill", will feature music and food. The goal is to support various services, including a homeless shelter, food pantry, job placement, and a dining hall.

Tickets are $75. Spectrum, a partner for three years, has donated $165,000 over three years, including $25,000 this year, and provides free broadband services.

They have also set up a technology center to assist with job applications and other resources.
