LIVE: La Villa school board meets to discuss DWI arrest of trustee

LA VILLA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A meeting will be held Monday evening to discuss a recent DWI arrest involving a La Villa school board trustee.

Yesenia Morales of La Villa was arrested on May 29 following an early morning crash in rural Hidalgo County.

Morales allegedly crashed and struck two fences at a residence along the FM 491 and Mile 11 North intersection.

Blood samples showed Morales was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.

The La Villa School District agenda for tonight's meeting lists one action item: "Discussion and action to adopt resolution censuring board member YM."
