LIVE: Food, festivities and more at this year's MXLAN

McALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Food, fun, music and more are underway at this year's MXLAN that is taking place McAllen Convention Center.

The three-day arts, music and culture event features a lineup of rising Latino artists and musicians to celebrate arts and culture.

The event began Friday with an artisan mercado and live performance by Los Aptos, Rubio, Selines and Lunar Heart.

Latin Grammy nominee Caloncho will headline Saturday night and will be joined by Vanessa Zamora, Ceci Ceci, Brownboyz and Myrka Chapa.

Sunday’s live music performance will showcase music by La Lom, Alta Reala, Desta French, Andria Rose, and Dani Tiscareno.

MXLAN will run through Sunday, which falls on Cinco de Mayo.
