Election confusion
In his commentary on Dec. 3, Kimball Shinkoskey tells us that Democrats are confused about the results of the election. Really? Only Democrats?
So, is the rest of the country OK with having a bozo in the Oval Office — again? The guy who mocked a disabled journalist? The guy who picked a fight with a “teenage climate activist” because he was jealous that her face was featured on the cover of Time magazine and his face wasn’t?
The guy is a convicted felon, for God’s sake! He is a proven pathological liar, a poor loser, and a draft dodger who disrespects military heroes like John McCain. And the MAGA crowd wants this dork in the Oval Office — again?
So yes, it’s true, sensible, rational thinking people here and all over the world are absolutely mystified!
But, as Mr. Shinkoskey noted, a majority of people in this country don’t seem to care about character, morality and ethics anymore. So for a guy like Donald Trump, who has deceived people all his life, these folks are easy prey. The greatest of all deceivers convinced the “poorly educated,” those he claims to love the best, to vote against their own interests. He lied to them, inundated them with disinformation and misinformation and they believed it! It was enough to defeat the Democrats.
The outcome of the election, however, did deny the thug MAGA patriots to once again urinate and defecate inside the Capitol. And for the American people, that’s a plus, isn’t it? Hoo-boy.
And the never-ending never-ending scourge continues, heaven knows for how long. Live and learn.

Politics a circus
American politics is the world’s newest three-ring circus. It has a felon for a ring leader, a Cabinet of know-nothing barkers plus a do-nothing Congress and a Supreme Court open to almost any bribe available.
