She added that everyone can join in, even children 2 years and older, with parental supervision, can let their creativity flow during the workshop.

After some time of opening Craft Social, Camizales decided to give rug tufting a test run, and to her surprise many of her customers loved it.

After all the positive feedback and the requests for more rug tufting workshops, Camizales opened a second studio dedicated to rug tufting.

"The responses feel really good because that's exactly why I opened Craft Social, I wanted to give a positive experience to everyone," Camizales said.

She added that her businesses have even helped break the ice on first dates.

Camizales said she gets many calls from people planning their first date asking if it is going to be fun, and if they have to be good artists to participate. She explained that there is no pressure when doing partnered crafts.

Many of her customers, and even walk-ins, have told Camizales they find themselves in a calm state when creating their crafts.
