Largest Jehovah's Witness convention takes place in La Feria

LA FERIA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The local Jehovah's Witness ministry is hosting its largest convention after being on hold during the pandemic.

The three-day convention will be held from May 24 to May 26 at the Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 701 S. Parker Road.

"In the Valley, we are having 13 conventions in two languages, and we are expecting about 21,000 people to attend this three-day event," said Sergio Gomez, local spokesperson for the Jehovah's Witness ministry.

The event is a motivational program to comfort and encourage the community. Gomez said, the event is open to the public and looks forward to greeting all newcomers.
