Lane reductions and closures for I-2/I-69C interchange project

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Details on this week's closures for construction activities related to the I-2 / I-69C Interchange Project are included below.

Daily lane reductions will take place this week, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the following locations:

• Segments of the westbound I-2 frontage road between Cesar Chavez Road in San Juan and Cage Boulevard in Pharr
• Westbound I-2 frontage road between McColl Road and 2nd Street, in McAllen
• Segments of the eastbound I-2 frontage road between Jackson Avenue in McAllen and Cage Boulevard in Pharr
• Segments of the I-69C frontage roads, in both directions, between I-2 and Sioux Road, in Pharr

Nightly closures will take place this week, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., at the following locations:

• Segments of the westbound I-2 frontage road between Veterans Boulevard in Pharr and 2nd Street in McAllen.
• Segments of the eastbound I-2 frontage road between Jackson Avenue in McAllen and Cage Boulevard in Pharr.
• I-69C frontage roads, in both directions, between I-2 and SH495, in Pharr Cage Boulevard underpass at I-2, in Pharr.

The entrance and exit ramp within these limits will be intermittently closed while operations are in progress.
