LAGUNA MADRE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Laguna Madre Water District announced a temporary water interruption is scheduled later this week due to water distribution system repairs.
From 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, LMWD crews will be performing improvements on its water distribution system.
According to a news release from LMWD, to do the repairs safely, the water system will be shut down for an extended period of time.
LMWD stated some residents in the affected area, from 131 Woodys Lane to 267 Woodys Lane, will be experiencing low water pressure or no water at all.
LMWD recommends that residents store water buckets or containers for sanitary use and cooking.
Additionally, businesses in the area with water pumps or chillers are advised to take precautions to protect their equipment.
