Laguna Madre VetFest: Resource fair for veterans in Port Isabel, surrounding area

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Laguna Madre VetFest, a resource fair for veterans in the Laguna Madre area, will take place at the Port Isabel Event and Cultural Center.

The event aims to provide local veterans with access to VA departments, nonprofits, and businesses that cater to them. It also serves as an educational platform for veterans to learn about the benefits they may be eligible for.

The new nonprofit, Laguna Madre Veterans United, led by Terry Higginbotham and Amy Robinson, is dedicated to supporting veterans and their families.

This event is exclusive to veterans and their families. Proof of military service is required.
