HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Junior League of Harlingen has completed a three-year project to renovate the children's space at the Harlingen Public Library for their 75th anniversary.
The renovation, which includes nature-themed, interactive elements and bright colors, was done in partnership with the city, Megamorphosis Architects, and interior designer Amy Muniz.
The grand opening is scheduled for Monday, June 16, at 2 p.m., featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony, children's book reading, and goodie bags.
The event is free and open to the public, emphasizing community impact and empowerment.
