Isla Blanca Park crowned top Texas beach by USA Today for second year

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The 2025 USA Today Readers' Choice Awards have recognized Isla Blanca Park as one of the Top 10 Best Beaches in Texas.

For the second year in a row, the Isla Blanca Park, located in South Padre Island, has claimed the #1 spot as the Best Texas Beach, according to the Today Readers' Choice Awards.

The selection for the top 10 best Texas beaches follows a process conducted by a panel of travel experts and USA Today's "10Best" editors. The voting process takes several weeks of public voting, which leads Isla Blanca to earn first place and the admiration of tourists from across the nation.

“We are incredibly proud to see Isla Blanca Park once again named the best beach in Texas,” said
Cameron County Judge Eddie Treviño, Jr., in a news release. “This recognition reflects the commitment of Cameron County to preserving and enhancing our coastal treasures for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike. Isla Blanca is more than a destination; it’s a source of pride for our entire community.
