Investigation leads to 13 prostitution, solicitation arrests

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — McAllen Police officers, in an investigation, arrested 13 people allegedly involved in prostitution, according to the department's news release.

On Monday, four women were arrested for engaging in the criminal offense of prostitution. On Tuesday, three men were arrested for solicitation of prostitution and on Wednesday, two additional men were arrested for the same charge.

The arrests concluded on Thursday with four additional men taken into custody. Each was charged with solicitation of prostitution.
