Introducing the South Texas Business Partnership to the RGV

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The South Texas Business Partnership (STBP) used to be called the South San Antonio Chamber. It rebranded in 2022 and realigned its focus to take a proactive approach within what it calls the South Texas Triangle. 

This region includes South San Antonio, Laredo, the Rio Grande Valley, and the Coastal Bend. 

The group strives to be a catalyst for bringing the region’s business leaders together. 

STBP held its 2025 South Texas Summit at the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Brooks Hotel & Spa on June 9, 2025. 

At the conclusion of the summit, the group’s president and CEO, Rebecca J. Viagran, gave an interview to the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service. She said STBP wants to grow its presence in the Rio Grande Valley. Here is the interview:
