Illuminations honors community heroes for 25th anniversary

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Illuminations, a lighting store, is celebrating 25 years.

This celebration is giving back to the community with a "Local Lights" campaign.

The campaign honors individuals who significantly contribute to the community without expecting anything in return.

Nominations are open until Oct. 15, and winners will be announced by late November. Each honoree will receive $1,000.

The campaign aims to recognize teachers, nurses, volunteers, and other community pillars, regardless of age.

Illuminations supplies light fixtures to builders, designers, homeowners, and businesses. The family-owned business is grateful for the community's support over the years.
