HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A total of 25 undocumented immigrants were arrested at two construction sites located in South Padre Island and Brownsville, Texas, according to ICE Homeland Security Investigations of San Antonio.
On June 4, the Texas Department of Public Safety and the U.S. Marshals Service assisted U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement in arresting construction workers who are citizens of Mexico and Honduras.
Homeland Security Investigations of San Antonio released a video on June 5 on their X account.
HSI says the individuals are pending removal to their home country.

"Today’s arrests reflect ICE’s unwavering commitment to upholding the integrity of our immigration system and protecting our nation’s workforce. Individuals who violate federal immigration and employment laws not only undermine fair labor standards but also pose potential security and safety risks," said ICE Homeland Security Investigations San Antonio Special Agent in Charge, Craig Larrabee.
"ICE will continue to work with our partners to identify and investigate those who disregard the law and exploit our country’s systems for personal or commercial gain.”
