ICE: 10 immigrants arrested in Brownsville area

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Immigration and Customs Enforcement Rio Grande Valley says it arrested a number of immigrants working illegally in the United States.

ICE RGV says the arrest of more than 10 immigrants took place in the Brownsville area during worksite enforcement encounters, HSI San Antonio said on its X, formerly known as Twitter, account.

A Brownsville woman told ValleyCentral she was at a nail salon in Brownsville on Thursday when agents entered the business. She said several employees were taken away by agents.

HSI says those arrested were from Vietnam and Mexico.
