High school football players show character during media day

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The start of the 2025 high school football season is a little over a month away.

This year will be sure to have plenty of storylines. There will be athletes who dazzle on the field and coaches who devise the perfect blitz.

Before fans fill the stadium to cheer on their teams, players and coaches from around the Valley descended upon McAllen High School to talk about the upcoming season. The players and coaches are excited for the new year.

Players walked around the McAllen High School gym posing for pictures, videos and doing interviews.
