Hidalgo ISD announces holiday stipend for full-time employees

Hidalgo ISD announced Friday that all full-time active employees will receive a $500 stipend in recognition of their hard work and dedication.

Employees who maintained a perfect attendance between Aug. 19 to Dec. 13 will receive an additional $250 stipend, with a news release noting it as “a reward for their commitment and consistency.”

“A sincere thank you to the dedicated staff of Hidalgo ISD for always putting their best foot forward,” the release stated. “Your hard work, commitment, and passion for going above and beyond make a lasting, positive impact in the lives of our students.”

The district also expressed gratitude to the board of trustees and Interim Superintendent Fernando Castillo for their unwavering support.

“We truly appreciate all you do to inspire and support (the students) every day,” the release stated.
