EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Hidalgo County Precinct 4 announced its upcoming Men's Health 4K: Fun, Run, Walk and Health Fair.
The free event, sponsored by South Texas Health System, is set for 8 a.m. on June 7. This engaging race aims to raise awareness about the importance of prioritizing men's health while encouraging a proactive approach to overall well-being.
Precinct 4 announced Mayor Ramiro Garza as a special guest, who is expected to kick off the race.
Attendees can explore the health fair, which will feature a diverse range of health-related services, information services, programs offered by the county, and booths by various partners.
Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to interact with healthcare professionals, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into men's health concerns.
Those interested in participating in the race can register online at miloponce4k.eventbrite.com. The first 160 registered participants will receive a medal and a T-shirt.
The 4K run will take place at Milo Ponce Park in Edinburg.
