Hidalgo County to host community senior health event

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Hidalgo County will host a free wellness event this week in honor of National Senior Health and Fitness Day.

The event will offer free health screenings, wellness education, and opportunities to engage with local healthcare professionals.

Seniors and their families are encouraged to attend the event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Hidalgo County Precinct 2 Indoor Sports Complex, located at 3600 E. Eldora Rd. in Pharr.
