Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office searching for missing 85-year-old man

The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 85-year-old man in the early stages of dementia.

Ramon Peña, 85, was last seen wearing a plaid shirt, blue jeans and possibly black sandals.

He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. Authorities say he walks with a noticeable limp and uses a cane.

The sheriff's office says Peña suffers from several medical conditions and is in the early stages of dementia.
