Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office investigate sexual assault, suspect at large

MISSION, Texas (ValleyCentral) —The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office is investigating a sexual assault report.

On Wednesday, Hidalgo County Sheriff's deputies responded to the area of Bentsen Palm Drive and Mile 7 Road, according to a news release from HSCO.

Deputies spoke to a woman who reported that a man approached her in a truck and offered her items.

After entering the vehicle, the victim was physically and sexually assaulted by the suspect, the release stated.

This is an ongoing criminal investigation
