Hidalgo County Precinct 3, Scooter’s Coffee offering a free cup for teachers

In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, Hidalgo County Commissioner Everardo “Ever” Villarreal wants to show his appreciation for educators in his precinct. 

All Precinct 3 teachers are being treated with a free medium coffee Thursday at Scooter’s Coffee, located at 700 N. Shary Rd.

“Your hard work and dedication make a difference every single day,” Villarreal wrote in a Facebook post. “As a small token of gratitude, don’t forget to stop by Scooter’s Coffee on Thursday for a free coffee!”

In order to receive the coffee, all educators need to do is simply show their school ID or badge. 

The offer will run from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“… enjoy a cup of gratitude for all you do,” Villarreal said. “Because great teachers deserve a great pick-me-up!”
