Hidalgo County ends free COVID tests, shifts to low-cost lab tests

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Hidalgo County Health & Human Services Department announced Wednesday that free COVID-19 testing at the Hidalgo County Public Health Laboratory will end on Jan. 31.
