HCSO: Carnival worker missing, going on two weeks

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office is searching for a woman last seen Feb. 15, according to a news release.

Laura McKeown, 52, was last seen in the area of Cesar Chavez Road and Sioux Road in Alamo wearing blue jeans and a hoodie sweater. McKeown is described by authorities as being 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.

She is a carnival worker and expressed a desire to return home to Tyler, Texas, according to the sheriff's office.

Family members report McKeown as being depressed recently.
