HCSO: Body found in rural Alamo, investigation underway

ALAMO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A dead body was found in rural Alamo, authorities said.

At 1:13 p.m. deputies responded to a call of a dead body found at the 2300 block of N, Cesar Chavez Road, according to a release from the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Department.

At the scene, authorities saw a decomposed body of a woman on the property. Hidalgo County Investigators and Crime Scene Specialists are speaking to witnesses and gathering evidence.
