Harlingen VA Clinic hosts Independence Day event

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Veterans Affairs Clinic in Harlingen is hosting a 4th of July Independence Day Benefits Fair and BBQ.

The event will provide information on the VA's benefits and services while honoring Veterans' service.

"These events are more than just a celebration; they are an opportunity for us to connect with our Veterans, show our appreciation, and ensure they are aware of all the benefits and support available to them," said Hugo Martinez, Public Affairs Officer of VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System.

Food, refreshments, and prize giveaway items will be available at the event.

The event will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the VA Health Care Center on 2601 Veterans Dr. in Harlingen.
